Valley Pool & Spa is offering Curb-Side Pickup and Next Day Shipping


Like you, Valley Pool & Spa is deeply concerned about the impact to the health and well-being of our customers, our communities, and our employees during this time of uncertainty.

Our teams are continuously responding to Coronavirus COVID-19 information from local and national health agencies and taking action to minimize the risk to our customers and team members through enhanced cleaning, sanitizing, social distancing, and personal hygiene as recommended by the CDC.

We also acknowledge that many of you may be concerned about the ability to service and maintain your pool or spa during this challenging time. Proper pool and spa maintenance is essential to ensure the water does not succumb to algae and bacteria growth that can create additional health challenges. The purpose of this message is to share what we are doing and how we can help:

  1. As of now, we are performing “Curb-Side” purchasing and pickup for all items in our store on temporarily shortened hours of Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, and Sat-Sun 10am-5pm. Just call your favorite Valley store (all store phone numbers at bottom of this page) right from your parked car – or before making the trip, and a team member will process your needs – bag it – and hand it out to you curb-side. No need to ever leave your car.
  2. Or if you would prefer, we can temporarily ship any orders over $99 with FREE next business day shipping when orders are called in (all store phone numbers below) before 2pm, so you don’t even need to leave your home. We can ship smaller orders (under $99) next business day as well, for only $9.99.
  3. Or, you can skip the phone completely and can shop most of our inventory real-time on our newly launched eCommerce site at ShopValleyPoolSpa.com
  4. Need a pool or spa water test?
    Simply put your name and address on your water bottle, drop it off in front of our store door, then call the store (all store phone numbers at bottom of this page) from your parked car to let us know it’s there. We will process the water sample and review your subscription by telephone once it’s complete.
  5. Need At-Home Service?
    Our essential pool & spa repair and maintenance division is operating as normal and will be there when you need us.  Please just call 412-944-2441 to schedule an appointment.

The situation we are all in is challenging and constantly changing, and we are committed to prioritizing the well-being of the communities we serve. What Else We Can Do to Help You Sanitize

Valley Pool & Spa stores carry essential chemicals that can be used as alternatives to home sanitizers that may be in short supply. 
The CDC has recommended the use of household bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The CDC recommends the following procedure for making a bleach solution using household bleach:

Valley Pool & Spa stores carry liquid pool chlorine, which is approximately two times stronger than household bleach. The bleach solution recommended by the CDC can be formulated by substituting the recommended amount of bleach with only half the amount of liquid chlorine.

CDC Statement Regarding Pools & Hot Tubs in regards to COVID-19

As your trusted partner in pool and spa care, we wanted to provide you with important safety information from the CDC. According to the CDC, there’s no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, filtration, maintenance, and disinfection should remove or inactivate the virus that causes the Coronavirus.
